What is the Bachelor International Finance program?

The International Finance specialization can be chosen in the third year of the Bachelor’s program at IUM.

During the Bachelor’s program, you will develop your general skills through the following subjects:

  • microeconomics and macroeconomics ;
  • project management ;
  • international relations ;
  • sales and negotiation ;
  • business legal environment ;
  • business development ;
  • marketing and communication.

You’ll also take courses specific to your specialization.

What is the degree awarded by the Bachelor International Finance?

By completing this course, you will obtain a Bachelor’s degree, 90 US credits and 180 ECTS credits. With your Bachelor’s degree, you can choose to enter the world of work directly or continue your studies in the Master’s program. The IUM offers a range of MSc programs enabling you to specialize in a particular field.

What are the career opportunities for a Bachelor’s degree in International Finance?

IUM’s Bachelor International Finance prepares you for a wide range of careers in Monaco and abroad in the corporate finance, auditing and accounting sectors. You’ll be able to work for a wide variety of companies, as well as banks and similar financial organizations.

What are the admission requirements for the Bachelor International Finance program?

To apply for the IUM Bachelor’s program, you need to hold a 2nd year undergraduate diploma/level. You must also compile a file containing the following information:

  • copy of your identity card or passport ;
  • transcripts of the last two years of secondary school ;
  • diploma (if already a graduate) ;
  • identification photo ;
  • Proof of English language skills (TOEFL, IELTS, Cambridge);
  • application fees

If your application is accepted, you will have the opportunity to meet the admissions team for a motivational interview. An interview in English can also be arranged.

For entry into 3rd year, you need to have completed a 2nd year undergraduate level.

Is it possible to study abroad during the Bachelor International Finance program?

Yes, it is quite possible to study abroad during the Bachelor’s program. You’ll have the opportunity to spend a semester at a foreign partner university in Europe, Asia, North America or Central America.

You can also take part in internships with foreign companies to gain a unique international experience.
