Why choose the MSc Purchasing & Supply Chain Management?

INSEEC’s MSc Purchasing & Supply Chain Management is designed for students who want to become supply chain experts. During this training, they will learn how to determine a company’s purchasing policy and establish its logistics processes.

This is a professional training program combining theoretical knowledge and practical experience. Thanks to the work-study program, students can develop their knowledge of logistics, warehousing and delivery, and will be operational by the end of their training.

This MSc is offered in French or English on the Paris, Lyon and Bordeaux campus, and can be taken in one or two years.

What is the MSc Purchasing & Supply Chain Management program?

In this program, you’ll take cross-disciplinary courses in management, languages, negotiation and IT. You’ll also have the opportunity to attend courses directly related to your specialization.

During your two years of training, you will study the following subjects in particular:

  • supply chain logistics ;
  • logistics project management ;
  • risk analysis and the buyback function ;
  • international purchasing practice ;
  • business law ;

What is the diploma awarded by the MSc Purchasing & Supply Chain Management?

With INSEEC’s MSc Purchasing & Supply Chain Management, you’ll earn a diploma at bac +5 level, registered with the RNCP. This certification will enable you to apply for positions of responsibility in France and abroad.

What are the admission requirements for the MSc Purchasing & Supply Chain Management?

To join the MSc Purchasing & Supply Chain Management program, you need to have obtained a degree at bac +3 level. It can be a licence, a bachelor or even a BUT. Students with a 1st year postgraduate diploma can apply directly to go into the 2nd year of this MSc i.e. in the fifth year, and complete their master’s degree in one year at INSEEC.

Is it possible to study abroad during the MSc Purchasing & Supply Chain Management?

The MSc Purchasing & Supply Chain Management does not provide for international mobility during the two years of study. However, you will have the opportunity to take part in internships during your studies. These internships can often be carried out abroad.
